Job Description:
Genesis HealthCare, a leader in post-acute, rehabilitation,
skilled nursing, and long-term care services, is currently looking
for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to
join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing
top-tier healthcare services aimed at improving patient outcomes
and fostering a supportive environment. You will apply your skills
and knowledge in patient care to administer nursing care under the
supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring the
comfort and well-being of our patients. Monitor patient health and
maintain accurate records of their medical history and vital signs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with registered nurses and doctors to create effective
plans of care. Educate patients and their families on treatment
plans and preventive care. Ensure that patient care is provided
according to all relevant regulations and standards. Assist with
basic patient care activities, including dressing, bathing, and
eating. Proficiency in administering medications Strong
observational skills Ability to communicate effectively with
patients, families, and healthcare team members Knowledge of
hygiene and infection control standards Capability to handle
medical equipment and tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid LPN license in the state
of employment Current CPR certification
