Job Description:
Beemac Logistics is looking for an Agent Recruitment Manager to
join our team. This individual will work to find new and creative
ways to prospect, recruit, and onboard new freight broker agents.
The ideal candidate will have transportation logistics/freight
brokerage experience whether that be in agent recruiting, or a
former agent looking to leverage their experience.
-Responsibilities:
Utilize different recruiting
platforms and job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, JazzHR) to post agent
openings and review active applicantsNetwork and develop
relationships in the freight brokerage industry to build a talent
poolUtilize charisma and personality to communicate the Beemac
brand by telephone, face to face and through videoMaintain and
track pipeline and candidate progressSee agent candidates through
the interview and offer process, including negotiation of
compensation/financial termsWork closely with the recruiting and
training teams to make sure all new agents are onboarded and
trained as neededMaintain relationships with company agents and
regularly follow-up once they are hiredManage and analyze agent
turnover, outreach and marketing success, etc.Actively participate
in scheduled recruiting meetingsResearch competitor employment
branding techniques -Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in
transportation logistics/freight brokerage either as a recruiter or
a current/past agentSubstantial network of agents/sales
representatives in the industry preferredBachelor's degree
preferredMust be familiar with 1099 employment parameters and
contract negotiationMust have exceptional verbal and written
communication skillsMust have the ability to engage active and
passive candidates through social mediaMust have excellent
interpersonal skillsMust have strong time management skills as well
as be an effective multi-taskerExceptional leadership and
management skillsMust have strong critical thinking and analytical
skillsMust have good problem solving and decision-making skills
along with the ability to exercise sound judgmentWork Environment:
Must be able to work M-F, 8:00 AM to
5:00 PM along with odd hours as it is not always feasible to handle
all recruiting or marketing duties during regular office hoursMust
be able to travel to branch office locations to conduct various
