Work with Oracle's world-class healthcare Cerner EMR technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.

We're looking for a Lead Support Technician to lead our Support Team in Weirton, WV to help us.

As a Lead Support Technician, you will manage day-to-day technical support for end-user hardware/software needs and project-based support onsite and remote locations. You will oversee routine technical support and maintenance for desktops, laptops, and network systems, including hardware, application software, operating systems, and connectivity.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

Fixing hardware and software issues, document resolution, and support as needed.

Configuration and installation of software applications.

Updating end-user desktop and laptop software with support as needed.

Oversee technical project planning and documentation.

As a leader of this team, you will also be responsible for prioritizing and advancing issues when appropriate, using knowledge transfer forums to identify and resolve problems as well as contributing to all phases of desktop support. This includes coordination, monitoring, tracking, and resolution, related to client installations, upgrades, software, hardware, operating systems, and operating system configuration issues. Finally, as a lead of this fast-paced, leading-edge organization, you will perform telecom moves, adds, and changes (MAC work) for end users with limited support. You will lead the team in delivering quality technical support for local end-users, which includes solving technical problems and liaising between end-users and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

At least 6+ years total combined work experience and completed higher education.

At least 3+ years as a support technician in a Senior level capacity

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree (Higher Education, Higher National Diploma)

At least 3+ years of end user and hardware support in a hospital setting

At least 6+ years of office support, call center, or phone support work experience.

At least 6+ years of operating systems support work experience.

At least 6+ years of end-user device support and troubleshooting work experience.

CompTIA A+ and Network + Certification and/or Microsoft Certifications

ITIL Foundations Certification

Expectations

Must reside in or around the Weirton, WV tri-state area.

Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.

Work according to corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any security compromises within the scope of the position.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

US: Hiring Range: from $27.69 to $60.63 per hour; from $57,600 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
