Assembly Technician

An assembly technician plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by assembling various finished products or sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine the assembly process.
  
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures to assemble components accurately.
  
• Ensure proper positioning, alignment, and attachment of components.
  
• Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  
• Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or assembly issues to supervisors or quality control teams.
  
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and production goals are met.
  
• Document assembly processes, maintain records, and update assembly logs as required.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  Qualifications and Skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
    
  • Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred, but not required.
    
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions.
    
  • Basic problem-solving skills to identify and resolve assembly issues or defects.
    
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
    
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
    Benefits/Compensation
    • Full Time
      
    • Pay Rate is $14 per hour
      
    • Shift: 1st: 7AM-3:30PM M-F & 2nd: 3:30PM-2AM M-Th
      
    • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
      
    • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts
      
    • Temp-To-Hire
      
    • Benefits after Probation period
