Job Description:

We are looking for - new team members to join our Commercial Estimating Department. Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely quantity take-offs
• Generate comprehensive and competitive estimates, both in the public and private sector
• Concrete estimates will include but not be limited to curbs, sidewalks, foundations, flatwork, and structural concrete -
• Develop and maintain existing relationships with General Contractors and clients
• Coordinate with subcontractors and develop relationships pertinent to the position
• Create and maintain organized estimate files
• Work in conjunction with Project Managers and other Estimators Qualifications & Abilities:
  • Bachelor???s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related industry preferred -but not required
  • 5+ years construction experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Team-Oriented
  • Advanced computer skills with Estimating software (HCSS HeavyBid and Planswift preferred -but not required)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience reading and analyzing Concrete Construction Drawings
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Knowledge of concrete material and form work
  • Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles
