Join the Evolution What will your day look like? At Aerotech, you will: Assemble high end automation products using a variety of hand tools such as wrenches, hex keys, torque wrenches, flat stones, hammers, pliers, and custom tooling or fixtures. Inspect and fit precision machined parts using various instruments and procedures such as micrometers, calipers, electronic and dial indicators, laser interferometers, autocollimators, and other devices. Prepare and install linear and rotary bearings, encoder scales, and other precision components, through the use of work instructions, control plans, engineering specifications, sketches, assembly drawings, and related computer software. Troubleshoot to determine the cause of malfunctioning products, work with peers and supervisors to find a solution, then perform modification and repair when necessary. Work directly with engineering to improve system designs and performance. What will separate you from the rest? Experience with: Precision measurement/part inspection experience (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators) Blueprint/Drawing experience Effective electronic communication and general software experience Precision Bearing Installation Experience Minimum Qualifications: Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Qualified candidates must have a mechanical aptitude Qualified candidates must have experience with utilizing tools Excellent computer skills Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Able to stand for prolonged periods of time Benefits: Aerotech has been advancing industries with our precision motion technology for more than 50 years.
