from anywhere (half days) on Fridays.JOB SUMMARY :The Pricing
Analyst II is responsible for Pricing in the collaborative setup
and maintenance of price requests and quotations for the Product
Development, Sales, and Marketing departments. This role will play
a key part in building special programs and practices to ensure
that American Textile Company remains competitive.PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES:Price Quotations--- Maintains and analyzes all
China & India quotes for content and accuracy.--- Ensures that
specifications match between factories for the same project.---
Analyzes bag and carton dimensions to ensure correct freight cost
calculations.--- Updates USD conversion rates.--- Collaborates with
Product Managers and NAMs to request the proper quotation and
implements the correct quote by product/customer.--- Summarizes
multiple quotations for specification, cost, and certification
requirements.Price Analysis--- Calculates/compares/reports ATC and
Retail gross margins by product and by customer while analyzing
compliance with current year targets set by senior management.---
Tracks the actual versus standard costs on quoted items to find
patterns in data to report to other departments and/or manager for
corrective measures.--- Maintains the RMB report for current
program prices to limit re-quoting (limiting factory price
increases).--- Revisits price files to analyze inputs that reduce
cost, reach target price points, and maximize margin.--- Leads and
presents special projects from PD Directors to maintain margins,
supply required customer information, analyze margins, and maintain
data integrity over all programs.--- Analyzes 'collect' and
'pre-paid' freight options that are advantageous for ATC
expenses.--- Builds and presents special program summaries to
reflect current sell prices/margins to proposed customer cost
reductions.--- Reports comparisons to senior management.--- Works
with PD managers and Directors to streamline the quoting process,
especially for El Salvador make items.--- Develops, reviews, and
maintains all line-level Pricing Standard Operating Procedures.---
Data mines existing Excel based price files for margin analysis,
program summaries, and ad-hoc reporting as needed.Cost
Maintenance--- Maintains the Pricing Tracker and ensures that all
price request deadlines are met.--- Analyzes price requests vs
rolled out products for management review of resource
allocation.--- Performs annual/quarterly/monthly reviews of pricing
inputs with various departments.--- Reports changes that impact
costs and/or margins.--- Maintains the Pricing Template and all
background tables to ensure accuracy and changes to the pricing
process.--- Ensures data integrity across all cost inputs used in
the price files.--- Analyzes best practices for data manipulation
to maintain deadlines.--- Collaborates with the Engineering team to
test and price non-standard case packs, new cartons, and new
projects.--- Supports the eCommerce team with analysis of requested
price reductions, holiday events, and bulk order requests.---
Calculates individual promotional margins for Sales decision
support.--- Provides Sales Administration support to ensure rollout
accuracy.Pricing Database--- Maintains high-level interdepartmental
communication to ensure the latest and most current inputs are
being utilized in the pricing process including gathering and
analyzing freight, duty, quotes, conversion rates, allowances,
warehouse distributions, overheads, and target margins.---
Collaborates with Purchasing and Marketing to maintain a
carton/packaging library to reduce one-time costs, and to estimate
program needs with short deadlines.--- Updates and implements
current rework processes and costs.--- Historically maintains price
files to reflect the true rework required upon rollout.--- Updates
structures to reflect changing components, and reports cost/margin
implications.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:--- Minimum of a Bachelor's
Degree in Math or related discipline or its equivalent.--- Minimum
4 years of job related experience.--- Advanced Computer Skills,
including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and AS400
(preferred).PHYSICAL DEMANDS:--- Ability to withstand prolonged
periods sitting at a desk--- Frequent use of upper extremities to
perform keyboard functions and work on a computer--- Ability to
occasionally stand/walk
