CyLumena was recently chosen as a finalist for 2019 Solution Provider of the Year.  Since our launch in 2017, we’ve built a stellar team of cybersecurity experts, ranging from former CISOs, Big Four consultants, and U.S. Armed Services Intelligence experts to become the sixth largest regional cybersecurity firm. Role DescriptionThe Sales Executive forges new business relationships, promotes the CyLumena brand and, with the support of the CyLumena team, closes new business. This is achieved by leveraging proven consultative selling skills to identify opportunities that align with our cyber service offerings, building account and sales strategies and leaning on the support of the technical support team. A Sales Executive drives sales growth by networking, prospecting, qualifying leads and assessing customer needs. Reporting to the Managing Director of CyLumena, the sales executive represents our company and communicates a compelling value proposition. Key ResponsibilitiesForges new account relationships and secures new logosRepresents the CyLumena brand at seminars, networking events and conferences, able to communicate a compelling value propositionIn conjunction with marketing team, build marketing and sales strategies for focus areas (e.g., approach for selling to PE firms)Quickly understand the client business challenge, align a CyLumena offering to solve the challenge and lead the sales effort to close the business.Build, maintain and lead the execution of strategic account plans for target accounts focused on achieving / exceeding targeted sales goalsDrives sales growth by networking, prospecting, qualifying leads and assessing customer needsPartner with the CyLumena delivery teams to ensure we are delivering high value solutions that meet client needs/expectationsUnderstand cybersecurity and industry trends and identify enhancements to current offerings, or opportunities for new servicesWork with strategic partners to identify opportunities to leverage partner solutions and achieve benefit for both companies and our clientsTravel as required to conferences, events, and client meetings QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred but open to other candidates with solid track record of selling in this spaceSelf-directed, results oriented, professionally competitive, high drive to win?Customer-focused and results-driven8+ years of solution consultative sales experience to senior level buyers (decision-makers)Demonstrated track record of ability to develop new business in companies with limited brand recognitionPreference for some consulting services experience in the cybersecurity space (but not at the expense of proven track record of selling cyber services)Active listener who translates client needs into an actionable responseStrong negotiation skills and the ability to influence othersTrustworthy and builds trusts for positive lasting relationshipsStrong team player with solid organizational, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills CyLumena Values – Individual must display and have a track record living the following CyLumena values:Customer Focused – we exist to serve our customers and to build long-term relationships rich with added valueAction Oriented – Our consultants are high-energy pros who proactively pursue our client's goals with passion and commitmentValue Driven – Regardless of the type of engagement, our goal is to delivery short and long-term value.Collaborative – Collaboration starts inside as we work should-to-shoulder with our clients rather than force-fit our approachCommunity Commitment – our mission extends to the community we live in, positively impacting non-profit, STEM and cybersecurity organizations
