Job Description:

I am currently seeking Pipe tech/ Operation tech to work for a water management company in the Pittsburgh area. These are all permanent opportunity with a great company. Benefit are offered after the first 90 days.

Summary

While demonstrating safe work habits, works on oilfield fracking projects, usually working to move water to project site and pump it to well, transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and abilities by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensures all piping has been correctly installed and begins the pumping process.

Installs necessary pumps and valves per specification.

Monitors water flow and pump pressures to ensure they are operating according to specifications. Makes adjustments as required by drilling company.

Maintains a clean and safe work/job site.

Operates hand and power tools.

Education and/or Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
