Job Description:

A local leading manufacturer of safety equipment is currently seeking experienced SMT inspection/ assembly for a long-term possible temporary-hire opportunity. Assembly positions require candidates to work with small hand tools and assemble small parts as well as label and package products. I you meet the below qualifications apply now!

Responsibilites include but are not limited to :

*Surface Mount Inspection/QC. Inspect PCBoards after they complete the surfacemount process.

*Inspect board for solder defects.

*Rework/solder Surfacemounts and microchips on PCBoard.

*Must have solder skills. IPC Soldering certification preferred.

*Basic to complex assembly, soldering using keen eye sight.

*Ability to identify electronic components.

*Report defective material or questionable condition to department supervisor.

*Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

*Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

*High School diploma

*Associates degree in Electronics or related field may be required fro some positions.

*IPC soldering certification preferred.

We have openings on Third shift (Sunday - Thursday 10:30 pm - 7:00 am)

Pay for this position is $11/hr with increases after 30 days and 6 months. Second and Third shift have a $.25 pay differential.
