Process and inspect raw meats and proteins within the Fresh Foods Manufacturing Commissary. RSC/FFMJob Description

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or Licensing Desired but not required: Food Safety
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 poundsJob Responsibilities:
  • Utilize both manual and automated methods to process meats.
  • Monitor automated equipment and report inconsistencies to management
  • Documentation of volume metric yields, utilizing proper procedures and guidelines.
  • Control quality and production costs through strict adherence to recipes and production procedures, monitoring waste and loss, and improved work efficiencies.
  • Detailed accuracy of staging, batching, and throughput metrics.
  • Coordinate and perform equipment and plant Sanitation, as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by ensuring that all food safety, food holding, temperature, Giant Eagle and OSHA standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate production records, HACCP and QA documentation to ensure that all meet the federal, state, county and Company requirements.
