Job Description:

DESCRIPTION:Systems Technicians provide technical support on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for distribution center personnel. They provide primary physical support for hardware and software systems related to conveyor required for warehouse operations. Support for conveyor and sorter systems includes programmable logic controllers (PLC), scanners, scales, photo eyes, and printers. Support of warehouse computer desktop software and hardware required to run the applications that control and support the conveyor operations. Support of Microsoft Windows and IBM iSeries printing related to print and apply systems for box labeling. They are responsible for troubleshooting, problem reporting, prioritizing tasks and follow-up through problem resolution. They are responsible for addressing warehouse personnel issues with these systems and effecting solutions. They are expected to maintain documentation for installation, troubleshooting and training to be used by warehouse personnel.
