System One has partnered with a Client in New Castle, PA looking to fill Millwright C Class positions. Under general supervision and mentorship of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Crew Leader(s), the Millwright "C" Class will be trained to perform daily and other related duties following established practices set forth in the Operating Procedures Manual and the Manufacturing Instructions Manual. The work will require you to work around extreme heat, work on uneven surfaces, and to work at heights. The ideal candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and be proficient in the use of hand tools. Applicants must be able to work a rotating schedule (including weekends and holidays), be able to work overtime and shifts up to 12 hours per day when needed. Will be required to submit to a criminal background investigation and hair follicle drug screening upon offer of employment. Applicants must be able to provide a High School Diploma/GED upon hire.

What You'll Do:

+ Under the instruction of a mentor(s):

+ Provide general mechanical maintenance assistance and support to maintenance team.

+ Assist with repairs to furnaces, overhead cranes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other mill machinery.

+ Weld, burn, and use various hand and power tools.

+ Read equipment drawings, retrieve parts, and participate in the Preventative Maintenance Program.

+ Maintain good housekeeping in the shop.

+ Operate mobile equipment as needed.

+ Abide by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.

+ Must be a self-starter, have ability and desire to work with others, and maintain a positive attitude.

+ Meet attendance requirements.

+ Perform other duties as deemed necessary.

What You'll Need:?

+ Commitment to safety

+ High School Diploma, or equivalent G.E.D. and proof of completed trade school training.

+ Experience in welding and equipment repair in an industrial setting preferred.

+ Ability to work rotating schedule (including weekends and holidays).

+ Ability to work overtime and up to 12 hours per day, as required.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis, withstand extreme temperatures, walk on uneven surfaces and be able to work effectively at heights.

+ Valid Driver's License

+ Strong work ethic

+ Willingness to learn
