Summary: We are currently seeking an Operations Leader for our
Brackenridge, PA, melt shop which is located approximately 20 miles
north of Pittsburgh. In this position you will be responsible for
leading a diverse, represented hourly workforce in day-to-day
problem solving and troubleshooting efforts, as well as,
interacting with all levels of management on a wide range of
business issues. Essential Functions:
Coordinate and lead the direct
assignment of work and safety controls to hourly personnelAssure
correct operation of equipment for quality assurance & availability
of operations equipment for on-time deliveryReport breakdown and
equipment repair needs to maintenance as they occurWorks closely
with inside and outside support personnel for mill activity
coordinationSafety responsibilities include:
Prompt response to safety problem
correctionsProactively seek out safety concerns Monitor safety

Ability to effectively lead a diverse
and represented hourly workforceAn Associate degree in a technical
field is highly preferredExcellent written and verbal communication
skillsExceptional organization skillsProficiency with computer
systems and Microsoft Office.Ability to work shifts, including
weekends, as required.Experience in Electric Furnace Melting, AOD
Refining, or Continuous Casting preferred.Candidates should have a
strong work ethic and the ability to work in a highly motivated
