Description:Be a part of the elite team at Peerless Chain!Peerless Chain is currently seeking for a talented Welder to help us grow our business.The position's primary responsibility will require the MIG welding skill set. The position will be a hybrid position between manual MIG welding, resistance machine welding and machine flash welding as business dictates. Machine and flash welding training will be conducted on site.Responsible to manually MIG weld chain, connecting and master links as well as various custom lifting devices and other products with solid wire in accordance with facility MIG Weld policy and procedures. Safely set up and operate welding machines and other shop equipment.Perform welds with the highest degree of quality, weld integrity, and visual appearance. Follow blueprints and or work instructions.Manage welding supplies and materials.Requirements:The ideal MIG Welder candidate will have:Certification - AWS D1.1 or D14.1, or API and minimum two years MIG welding experience. Significant MIG Experience without certification (5 plus years) may be considered upon verified testing. Demonstrated welding ability will be verified through hands on testing.
