looking for a remote Network Engineer who will commute to the
Ebensburg, Pennsylvania (15931) office and work onsite if required.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for providing the
technical expertise required to design network architectures and
implement network configurations while supporting day-to-day
network operations for an enterprise framework. You'll be part of a
team that's responsible for coordinating with enterprise leadership
to design and implement network needs, provide assistance and
solutions, and manage the network effectively.Essential Job
Responsibilities:Core duties and responsibilities include the
following. Other duties may be assigned by management.* Successful
support and execution of tasking relating to the implementation,
configuration, and tuning of network devices, which may include
routers, switches, firewalls, etc.* Providing direct hands-on
subject matter expertise for network appliances and environments
such as routers, switches, firewalls, and network taps.* Assist in
the architecture and design of enterprise networks and network
solutions.* Develop and maintain document network configurations.*
Evaluate switching technologies and concepts to optimize the
setup.* Troubleshooting and solving network-related issues.*
Design, prepare, and implement core service and NTP solutions for
large enterprises.* Complete scripts that auto-deploy and configure
software-based network devices.* Manage, maintain, and use
software, tools, and scripts to configure, monitor, and
troubleshoot both hardware and software-based network devices.*
Prepare and present solutions, reports, and other documentation as
requested by management.Minimum Job Requirements:* Continuous 9
years of experience working as a Network Engineer or similar
environment.* 3+ years of architecting and solutions; One-Net
networks experience would be preferred.* The applicant must hold a
bachelor's degree. (Information Technology or Systems, Computer
Science Preferred)* Must have extensive knowledge of TCP/IP,
sub-netting, super-netting, routing principles, routing protocols,
Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), switching, Network Time Protocol
(NTP), and firewalls.* Fluent technical knowledge of network
architectures, including network appliances; security appliances;
application services; virtual environments; network management
tools; network protocols; network troubleshooting; and optimizing
network performance.* Advanced knowledge in troubleshooting and
routing protocols; e.g., OSPF and BGP are required.* Security
clearance or the ability to acquire one is required.* Active CISSP,
Security+, or comparable certification is required.* Experience
with Arista/Cisco appliances and/or environments would be a plus.*
Experience with specific supplier product lines such as Arista,
Cisco, Palo Alto, and MasterClock would be a plus.What We Offer:*
