Job DescriptionGuardian Healthcare, located in Brockway PA, is
searching for a Regional Scheduling Specialist to support our
company throughout Pennsylvania and West VirginiaPosition
Summary:The Regional Scheduling Supervisor role is responsible for
analyzing scheduling data, identifying trends and inefficiencies,
and to help educate schedulers at the facility level on best
practices. The Regional Scheduling Supervisor is integral in
guiding, mentoring, and assisting facilities and schedulers with
the systems and processes related to the master schedule and
corresponding application.Essential Functions:
- Develops, updates, and evaluates master schedules across
multiple locations while considering a variety of contractual
obligations related to schedules
- Composes or supports an assigned number of site schedules based
on the region. Composes schedule templates and maintaining
scheduling software for accuracy.
- Trains and educates in a one-on-one, small or large group
settings on the scheduling software and best practice
- Works with sites to fill open shifts, mentor team on best
practices to fill open shifts at appropriate staffing rates,
provide support with filling shifts with internal or external
staff.
- Builds strong relationships with sites and agency partners, by
communicating via phone, text and email to understand their needs
and assist with filling schedules
- Works with sites to develop action plans for improvement in
scheduling and predictive measures
- Conducts comprehensive labor cost analysis to identify
inefficiencies by tracking and monitoring performance metrics,
financials, and assists management in compiling reports as
needed.
- Reconciles hours each month via scheduling software and submit
reports as scheduled
- Performs other duties as assigned.Work Environment:Mostly
remote, but some travel to our corporate office in Brockway, PA and
our sites throughout Pennsylvania and West VirginiaEducation /
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree required with an
emphasis in Long-Term skilled Nursing, Human Resources management,
or education preferred.
- Experience working with budgets and labor/scheduling
- Experience in healthcare and/or long-term care required.
- Experience with an electronic scheduling system and other
