This individual is responsible for operating,
adjusting, maintaining, and repairing
equipment on all presses. They are also
responsible for maintaining all quality, production, and
Operate, set up, maintain, repair, adjust, service and
overhaul all presses.
Perform die changes
Quality control (must know all defects and frequently monitor
the product criteria).
Read and comprehend Work Instructions and SOP’s
Maintain all production, inspection, quality, and safety reports
Read and comprehend manuals.
Safety check equipment at the beginning of the shift.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should
demonstrate the following:
Working knowledge of measuring devices
In depth knowledge of department operations
Ability to assist in the writing of SOP’s and Safe
