Position Summary :
Act as project lead on key assignments, ranging from development
and management of pricing strategy to implementation of pricing and
promotional tools and process. Responsible for training and leading
a team of analysts to support all aspects of pricing, including
execution and maintenance of strategy, data and system
enhancements, as well as adhoc global or category specific
analytics. Ensure timely and accurate completion of work and
communication/collaboration with category teams and leadership.

Train, coach and mentor pricing analysts and manage all aspects
of the Talent Development process.
Manage projects and team of analysts through all steps required
for development, execution and maintenance of pricing strategy:
data and system preparation, rules and relationship documentation,
pricing tool integration, zoning of promotions and prices,
competitor price checks, coordination of price review and approval
with category directors and managers, completion and distribution
of supporting analytics required for forecasting, measurements and
P&L adjustments, and communication to key stakeholders.
Become an expert user of Pricing and Promotions tools, providing
feedback on future enhancements and conducting user testing of new
releases as needed. Lead pricing analysts and coach and guide
customer connect analysts to leverage tools to provide accurate and
timely analytics to category teams and leadership.
Manage team through and participate in monitoring regular prices
vs competition and strategic objectives, and in providing
recommendations along with "what-if" scenarios to category teams
and leadership to ensure items prices are aligned with corporate
pricing strategy and financial goals.
Participate in annual budget planning in areas of competitor
price checks, pricing tool licenses, and resources necessary to
increase market awareness and data/analytical efficiency.
