Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a
dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their
team. As a Quality Technician, you will be an integral part of the
manufacturing support team, ensuring the highest standards of
safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will
demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and
a proactive approach to process improvement, which will align
successfully within the organization. Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Weirton, WV Pay Range: 20/hr Shift: Daylight What's the
Job? Develop and maintain manufacturing processes with a focus on
SAFETY, QUALITY, DELIVERY, and COST (SQDC). Create and manage
project plans for process development activities, including tasks,
resources, and schedules. Provide ROI justification for process and
equipment improvements and upgrades. Specify, identify, and procure
new manufacturing equipment, ensuring production readiness and
preparing equipment for operation. Analyze defects and failure
modes to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to
improve process stability. What's Needed? Associate and/or
Bachelor's degree, or relevant work experience considered.
Proficiency with CAD software such as Autodesk Suite or SolidWorks.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience with ERP systems like JDE, including creation of product
codes and routings. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing,
Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Six Sigma concepts. What's
