Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Plate Burner to join their team. As a Plate Burner, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Plate Burner Location: Canonsburg, PA Pay Range: $23.45/hr What's the Job? Burn carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum plates to sizes and shapes using various burning equipment. Receive and unload steel trucks, checking for quality and mill certifications. Maintain maintenance checklist, clean and maintain equipment, and grind material as required. Keep work area safe, neat, and clean. Utilize tools and equipment such as CNC burning machines, hand torches, and grinders effectively. What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED. Ability to perform moderate physical exertion, including lifting up to 60 pounds. Experience with burning equipment and tools is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
