Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Desktop
Technician to join their team onsite in Greensburg, PA and provide
support. The hours for this position are 7:30AM - 4:30PM. The ideal
candidate is expected to be helpful, relatable, and pleasant while
diagnosing and fixing problems for end users. Occasional travelling
may be required to local satellite offices for support. Duties and
Responsibilities: Provide onsite support to internal or external
customers in resolving complex or escalated technology issues
Ensure the proper day-to-day operation of applications and
equipment and troubleshoot on-site software and hardware issues on
laptops, Tablets, Workstations, and peripherals May resolve higher
level support to servers, and/or network equipment or perform
updates, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks
May serve as a liaison between customers, departments, and within
the organization to lead problem resolution and change management
processes Work may be more technical in nature and could include
more complex tasks, such as performing data transfers or building
images Receive user calls and offer remote or on-site support
Troubleshoot system, office, hardware and business applications
Perform management and installation of equipment in the meeting
room (projector, laptop, and videoconference) Monitor calls,
incidents and requests using client provided ServiceNow tool Skills
and Qualifications: Good communication and customer support skills
Good analytical / troubleshooting skills Strong working knowledge
of Microsoft Windows 11, and O365 support Experience with
installation of Microsoft Windows 11 operating system using System
Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Autopilot Wage Range: The
rate for this position is between $19.50 - $26.00 per hour, unless
local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay
within this range may include geography/market, skills, education,
experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
