Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Junior IT Support to join their team. As a Junior IT Support, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting local users. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Junior IT Support Location: Weirton, WV Pay Range: $27 Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm What's the Job? Provide helpdesk support to local users, handling tickets, incidents, and first-level troubleshooting. Support PCs and laptops, including software installation, permissions, and basic troubleshooting. Create and deactivate user accounts (email, licenses) and prepare IT equipment for new hires. Assist with fixed and mobile telephony, including device distribution, returns, and setup. Support internal network operations such as connectivity, switches, and device configuration. What's Needed? Proficiency in Operating Systems Support & Administration: Windows, macOS, basic Linux. Understanding of Network Fundamentals & Connectivity Troubleshooting: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN. Experience with Microsoft 365 & User Account Management: Outlook, Active Directory, permissions. Knowledge of Endpoint Setup & Device Management: PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices.
