Job Title: Business Analyst (Financial Services – Collateralized
Loans) Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite, Downtown)
Duration: 12-Month Contract Experience Level: Mid to Senior Pay
Range: 45-75/hour depending on level of experience Job Overview: We
are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong
background in financial services, ideally with experience in
collateralized loan products. This role will support key software
implementation and enhancement projects involving third-party
vendor solutions. The ideal candidate excels at gathering and
documenting business requirements, managing product backlogs, and
driving alignment between business and technology teams. Key
Responsibilities: Work closely with business stakeholders and
technical teams to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business
and functional requirements Partner with vendors to ensure
alignment on system functionality, integration points, and
deliverables Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring
clear user stories and acceptance criteria are defined Support the
full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through user
acceptance testing and implementation Facilitate meetings,
workshops, and walkthroughs to validate requirements and ensure
stakeholder alignment Identify and document process improvements
and assist in developing future-state workflows Act as a liaison
between business units, technology teams, and external partners
Qualifications: 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with
strong experience in financial services Experience with
collateralized loans or structured finance is highly preferred
Proven success working on software implementation projects,
particularly involving third-party vendor solutions Strong skills
in requirements gathering, documentation, backlog management, and
agile methodologies Excellent communication and stakeholder
management abilities Ability to work onsite in Downtown Pittsburgh
3 days per week Preferred Tools/Skills: Jira, Confluence, Visio, or
similar tools Familiarity with loan servicing systems or related
