POSITION SUMMARY The Recruiting Coordinator will report to the
Recruiter and will be responsible for supporting Snowshoes hiring
process and ensuring a positive experience for each candidate.
Snowshoes Recruiting team does a combination of direct and indirect
hiring and supports hiring managers and leadership through
operational processes, discovery calls and consistent
communication. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Domestic Recruiting
- Screen, route and process new applications
- Conduct discovery calls, extend offers and coordinate housing
with candidates for direct hire positions
- Communicate professionally and in a timely fashion with
applicants
- Create and post new job opportunities and repost jobs monthly
to ensure we keep our posting current
- Assist in writing job advertisements that are engaging,
exciting and encourage applicants to apply
- Assist with the onboarding process and new hire process
International Recruiting
- Conduct interviews with J1 applicants and help coordinate the
logistics for their arrival
- Assist with international transport - arrival, med transport,
departure, cultural trips, Social Security trips, etc.
- Serve as a support liaison for international workers during
their employment
- Coordinate and schedule cultural trips for J1 students
Administrative
- Maintain accurate notes and tracking of candidates through the
recruiting processes and Workforce Plans
- Create a high-quality candidate and hiring manager
experience
- Stay current on technical recruiting knowledge and industry
trends and comply with all federal, state and local laws
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all employees, applicants,
and HR business
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives
within recruiting - propose solutions and ideas to find more
efficient ways to deliver HR support Assist with other HR duties as
needed Other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to travel (day or overnight) as needed PREFERRED
BUT NOT REQUIRED
- College degree, preferably in HR or Business
- 1-2 years experience in outdoor industry (bonus points if
within ski industry)
- 1 year experience in recruiting
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.

REQUIREMENTS Position may require occasional overnight or day
travel. Any employee or volunteer who operates a company vehicle
including cars, trucks, snowcats, snowmobiles, or heavy equipment
is required to comply with the Drivers Standards Policy. This
policy also applies to employees or volunteers driving their
personal vehicles for company business more than four times per
month, averaging 30+ miles per trip. All drivers should receive a
full copy of the Alterra Drivers Standards Policy; if you have not
please contact your Risk/Safety or HR/EE Department. PHYSICAL
DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is often required to work evenings, weekends, and
holidays. Significant indoor and outdoor mobility throughout the
Resort is required.
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum
of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office
equipment on a constant basis.
- Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile
devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending,
reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking,
kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of
communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees. To
