Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. Requirements: • Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine. • 24 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine. Additional Details: Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed. If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Required Skills/Experience: Transfuse blood, wound vac changes, PCA pumps Special Requests: May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation. Holidays are based on a rotating schedule. Currently the holidays are: GROUP 1 New Years Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve & GROUP 2 Memorial Day, Labor Day and Christmas. Alternate every other year Group 1 to Group 2.
