Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the
Position Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced
MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services in Altoona,
PA. The MRI Technologist will interpret and follow physician
scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI exams,
and operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images that support
patient care. Minimum Requirements: Current American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or
MRI. MRI advanced level certification and state licensure as
required for practice in Pennsylvania. Minimum 2 years' experience
as an MRI Technologist performing clinical MRI exams. Experience
with 1.5T and/or 3.0T MRI systems preferred. (Preferred)
Demonstrated experience with standard MRI sequences, contrast
administration protocols, and safety screening procedures. BLS
certification required. Experience working in a hospital setting
required. Experience in trauma centers or large acute care
hospitals preferred. (Preferred) Assignment Details Facility type:
Hospital. Assignment length: 13 week assignment. Shift name: Flex
Shifts. Shift pattern: Variable 4x10 schedule. Shift hours: Any 10
(10-hour shifts, covering 0000–2400 with variable start times).
Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities
within the network as needed. Location Highlights Altoona, PA

attractions within short drives. The city is approximately 20 miles
from Blue Knob State Park, which provides hiking, skiing, and
mountain biking; downtown Altoona is home to the Horseshoe Curve
National Historic Landmark, 5–10 minutes from major hospital

suburban-to-rural lifestyle with nearby access to the Allegheny
Mountains, roughly 1–1.5 hour drives to state parks like Prince
Gallitzin and Black Moshannon, and commuting options via I-99 and
local transit for regional connections. Local amenities include
community parks, regional dining and shopping districts, and
seasonal outdoor recreation suitable for an adventurous or quiet
