Job Description ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) Traveler Location Pittsburgh, PA Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Scheduled for 3 × 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. The shifts will rotate between days, evenings, and nights, including weekends, with a requirement to work every other weekend. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to join our travel nursing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of surgical procedures and possess strong clinical skills in a Level 1 Trauma setting. Responsibilities - Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room. - Participate in surgical procedures and collaborate with surgical teams. - Maintain compliance with infection control policies and safety standards. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team. - Scrub all cases and assist as needed during procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room within the last 3 years, with preference for 3 years. - At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 Trauma center. - Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience within the last 3 years. - Current RN licensure and CPR certification required. - Flu and COVID vaccinations are required, with medical/religious declinations accepted.
