seeking an experienced Radiology Tech Advanced to join our
Consolidated Outpatient Team at the UPP Orthopedic office located
in the Medical Center Building. Why this role stands out: -
Daylight shifts only: Choose between 7:30am–4:00pm or 8:30am–5:00pm
- No weekends - No holidays - No on-call - Ortho X-rays only –
focused, specialized workflow - No phlebotomy required This is a
high-volume, fast-paced orthopedic practice featuring two X-ray
rooms, with the majority of studies focused on knee, hip, and foot
imaging. If you enjoy orthopedic imaging and working closely with a
dedicated specialty team, this is a fantastic opportunity. What
You’ll Do: - Perform all responsibilities of a Diagnostic Tech I,
while practicing at an advanced level - Support or assist the
Clinical Specialist with QA, regulatory testing, and
technical/research initiatives - Demonstrate advanced competency
with specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro procedures, etc.) - Monitor
and maintain quality control standards in alignment with the most
up-to-date imaging protocols - Collaborate directly with
Radiologists on protocol development - Participate in system-wide
standardization initiatives - Provide mentorship and assist in
training staff and student technologists - Function independently
while maintaining strong communication with leadership This role is
ideal for a technologist who thrives in a busy orthopedic setting,
enjoys autonomy, and is passionate about quality imaging and
professional growth. - Graduate of an ARRT approved school of
Radiologic Technology. - 2 years Diagnostic experience required. -
Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good
on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: - ARRT certified in
Radiography. CPR or BLS Required. - CPR required based on AHA
standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration
component within 30 days of hire. - ARRT Certificate - Basic Life
Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - Act 34 UPMC
