Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 1 year of experience in
Medical Surgical/Telemetry - 2 years of experience in Stepdown -
Ability to read telemetry strips Description: The Registered Nurse
will work in a Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit during night shifts.
Typical patient ratio is 1:4, with flexibility to 1:5 in
emergencies. There are requirements to limit holiday requests to no
more than 2 of the 4 major holidays. The contract length is 13
weeks with a possibility of extension. Shifts will be three nights
from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekdays and some weekends.
Certifications required include BCLS and ACLS. Skills necessary for
this position include IV starting and telemetry monitoring.
Experience in handling cardiac patients, including those who have
undergone surgery or interventional procedures, is essential.
Knowledge of telemetry, COVID-19 precautions, and managing a
variety of patients in a medical/surgical setting is required.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work well in a team and
collaborate with various healthcare professionals. Preference will
be given to candidates who have documented references from past
supervisors. All certifications must be via the American Heart
Association if required by the unit. Previous probationary actions
on licenses will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. 5 Benefits
