Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Siemens MRI proficiency for a 13-week travel contract at a community hospital in West Virginia. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital-based MRI unit - 3x12 hour day shifts, Wednesday through Friday blocked schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM - On-call required in addition to scheduled shifts - Charting via Cerner EMR - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Orientation is held every other Thursday - Pre-start online modules are required, averaging approximately 8 hours to complete - Former permanent employees of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers until 2 years after their last date of permanent employment - Current employees of any Vandalia Health System facility (including CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) are not eligible for a travel contract at this facility - Any previous probationary actions on license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis - Requested time off should be disclosed at the time of application /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 1 year of experience relevant to MRI technology - Active ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent required - BLS and ACLS certifications required, must be issued through the American Heart Association - WV state license or compact license required if applicable; pending license acceptable - IV start proficiency required - Siemens MRI experience required - Cardiac MRI experience preferred - Cerner EMR experience preferred - At least 2 manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration - SSN and DOB required for consideration - Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; those between 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-676478.
