shifts; 0615-1445 Mon-Fri; no weekends, holidays or call Contract
Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 03/30/2026 Job Description: The
Registered Nurse in the OR at the Outpatient Surgery Center is
responsible for addressing the individual physical, psychosocial,
and spiritual needs of the patient through observation and
interaction, serving as a patient advocate, and ensuring an
organized, safe, and efficient environment of care in collaboration
with the surgical team. Responsibilities: Assesses and responds to
the individual needs of the patient. Sets up operating room with
appropriate sterile supplies and equipment. Collaborates with the
surgical team for a safe and efficient care environment. Identifies
patient and operative site as per policy and ensures safe transport
of patient. Observes sterile field throughout surgical procedure
and charts information accurately. Manages surgical instruments and
medication labeling on the sterile field. Handles and labels
specimens correctly, ensuring all safety procedures are followed.
Communicates and coordinates with surgical team and functions in
