Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Monroeville, PA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Laborist for an ongoing locum opportunity in Monroeville, Pennsylvania , starting May 2026 . This is a high-volume, well-supported hospital-based position with resident and APP support. Assignment Details Start Date: Mid-May 2026 Length of Need: 4–5 months (ongoing potential) Reason for Coverage: Recruitment (currently 3 FT 2 PT physicians) Minimum Commitment: 2 shifts per month Preferred Coverage: 1 x 24-hour shift per week (6:00 AM – 6:00 AM) 1 x 48-hour weekend per month (Saturday–Sunday) Will consider 4–5 shift blocks No back-to-back shifts allowed Practice Setting Specialty: OB/GYN Laborist EMR: EPIC 317-bed hospital Over 5,000 deliveries annually Average 45–55 deliveries per month Trauma/NICU Level: Burn Trauma Center Level III NICU Requirements Responsibilities In-house call (call room onsite) Standard laborist duties Deliveries and minor GYN surgeries No C-sections required Supervise and teach residents and APPs Collaboration with in-house MFM and GYN Oncology teams APPs assist with triage and deliveries. Strong physician support onsite at all times. Requirements Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology – Required Active Pennsylvania License – Strongly Preferred PA DEA BLS & ACLS Will consider licensure candidates (IMLC or standard process), but active PA license preferred ? Privileging Timeline 90–120 days from completed application to committee approval
