6:45 AM - 7:15 PM). Weekday coverage with every-other-weekend

Responsibilities Assess patient health using systematic nursing
assessments and prioritize care based on immediate needs Develop
individualized plans of care with measurable outcomes and clear
documentation Implement nursing interventions safely and
effectively to promote recovery and prevent complications Evaluate
patient responses to interventions and revise plans of care as
needed Document patient data and care actions in a retrievable,
professional manner Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team
members and make appropriate referrals Advocate for patients,
protecting autonomy, dignity, and confidentiality Participate in
quality improvement activities and apply research findings to
clinical practice Provide leadership at the unit level by
delegating appropriately and supporting peers Assist with
out-of-facility patient transport when needed Qualifications
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (HCP BLS)
certification (must be completed and maintained; completion
timeframe noted in orientation/probation details) Experience in
Med/Tele nursing and comfort managing telemetry patients Experience
with delegation, prioritization, care planning and patient
evaluation EPIC patient charting experience is preferred and will
be given consideration Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and
participate in every-other-weekend staffing Knowledge & Skills
Strong command of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis,
planning, implementation, evaluation Patient assessment and
clinical decision-making for adult medical/telemetry populations
Care planning, implementation of nursing interventions, and outcome
evaluation Accurate, timely documentation and use of electronic
health records (EPIC preferred) Delegation, prioritization, and
teamwork in a fast-paced unit Familiarity with specialty nursing
standards applicable to med-surg and telemetry care Effective
communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
