Polysomnographic / Sleep Tech Location: State College, PA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,728 to $1,872 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $48.00 - $52.00/Hourly. Summary: The Polysomnographer performs comprehensive sleep studies to evaluate sleep and sleep-related disorders. This role is responsible for patient preparation, monitoring, data collection, and preliminary analysis of polysomnographic recordings in accordance with established protocols and accreditation standards. Responsibilities: Prepare patients for overnight and daytime sleep studies (PSG, CPAP/BiPAP titration, MSLT, MWT). Apply and calibrate electrodes, sensors, and monitoring equipment. Monitor physiological parameters during sleep studies and respond to patient needs. Associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography or successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician. Requirements Requirements: 2 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, RPSGT, Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent. Associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography or successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.
