Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Johnstown, PA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License in Pennsylvania Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Tele/Cardiac Step-down Description: The flagship hospital is a tertiary care regional referral hospital known for clinical excellence and nationally recognized patient outcomes. The facility is technologically sophisticated and offers specialized services including a regional Level 1 Trauma Center, Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery, and High-risk Obstetrical Care. Specialties include Cardiology, Critical Care, Diabetes Care, Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Orthopedics, Pulmonary Care, Rehabilitation Services, and Trauma Services. Candidates must complete and clear screenings prior to starting. The unit features a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 with a total of 20 beds. The patient population served includes all ages. This position requires experience in intermediate cardiac care, bedside telemetry monitoring, and management of conditions such as acute myocardial infarction, pulmonary edema, and congestive heart failure. Candidates should have skills in post-operative care for carotid endarterectomy and stents, as well as post-AAA and post-PCI procedures. Required personality fit is professional.
