Registered Nurse (RN) | Other Location: State College, PA Agency: Adelphi Medical Staffing Pay: $46 per hour Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Summary: Ref : M-RN-292352 Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pulmonary Clinic Job Type: Contract/Travel Start Date: ASAP Location: State College, PA Shift Schedule: 8a-4:30p Shift Type: Days Rate: $1,860/40-hours Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Experience in pulmonary, respiratory, or outpatient clinic nursing preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills. Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments including respiratory status monitoring, vital signs, and health history review. Assist with pulmonary procedures such as spirometry, oxygen therapy, and inhalation treatments. Administer medications, vaccinations, and respiratory therapies as ordered. Educate patients on managing asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, and other lung conditions. Provide care coordination, triage calls, and support chronic disease management. Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is cleaned, stocked, and functioning. Document patient care in electronic medical records accurately and timely. Collaborate closely with pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff.
