Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on advanced radiology techniques in a well-equipped setting. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Certification or license as a Radiologic Technologist Proven experience in pediatric imaging preferred Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety protocols Ability to perform imaging exams accurately and efficiently Excellent patient care and communication skills, especially with children Location:The position is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a city known for its rich history, cultural attractions, and vibrant neighborhoods. Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on pediatric patients using radiology equipment Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment Maintain imaging equipment and follow infection control and safety guidelines Respond to on-call requirements as discussed during the interview process Schedule / Hours: Rotating shifts Every other weekend work Call requirements (details to be discussed during the interview) This role is offered on a contract basis, presenting the chance to gain valuable experience in a pediatric-focused radiology department with flexible scheduling considerations.
