Job Description:
Facility: 347-bed hospital (No trauma) EMR: EPIC Position Type:
Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgeon Shift Schedule & Call: Shifts:
M-F, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM weekly Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
Call Schedule: 1:2 weeknight call; rotate weekends & midweek
(Mon/Tue, Wed/Thu, Fri-Sun rotation with alternate provider)
Minimum Commitment: 2 weeks per month Target Start & Duration:
Approved for 6 months with potential extension Patient Population &
Caseload: Average daily census: inpatients, up to 17 office
patients Approx. 218 heart procedures in 2024, 147 through August
2025 Procedures include: CABG, Aortic/Mitral valve
replacement/repairs, Ascending aortic root work, TAVRs, routine
lung/lobectomy, mediastinoscopy
