Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,876 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a relevant specialty License: Active RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in direct fresh open-heart admissions from the operating room - Proficient in pressure monitoring and Swan-Ganz management - Competent in Impella monitoring and CRRT Description: The role involves providing care to patients in the Cardiac Care Unit during the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. Staffing ratio is typically 1 nurse to 2 patients, based on acuity. Overflow patients may require step-down level of care. Candidates must have experience directly managing open-heart admissions from the operating room. Skills in cardiac surgery and the management of Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella devices, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) are essential. The position requires the ability to manage patients with complex cardiac issues, including those recovering from various cardiac surgeries. You will assist with various advanced procedures and techniques related to cardiac care. Familiarity with Cerner EMR is appreciated. Maintaining infection prevention standards is a key responsibility. Interpretation of arterial blood gases and management of dysrhythmias will be part of daily tasks. There may be occasional floating to other ICU settings. The work environment consists of a multidisciplinary support team to aid in comprehensive patient care.
