Schedule 12-hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled. Job Description We are seeking a qualified Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide care in our intensive care unit. The candidate must have significant experience and be comfortable with various complexities in patient care. Responsibilities - Monitor and assess patient conditions, including respiratory distress, post-arrest care, and acute myocardial infarctions. - Manage and titrate IV drips and medications according to protocol, including vasopressors and anticoagulants. - Collaborate with primary physicians and provide nursing care in a dynamic acute care environment. - Oversee ventilator management and adhere to best practices for respiratory care. - Participate in unit orientation and training for new staff or travelers. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience. - Previous experience managing balloon pumps and ventilators. - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. - Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips independently.
