(CPhT) certification and 1 years Pharmacy Technician experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Soliant Pharmacy has a need for Pharmacy Technicians
for contract/contract to hire roles in the Retail Pharmacy setting
in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This opportunity is available for
experienced Retail Pharmacy Technicians to support a
community/retail pharmacy focused on patient care. Location:
Pittsburgh, PA Type: Contract (13-weeks), possible contract to hire
Schedule: Monday to Friday 830a-5p Key Responsibilities: Assist in
dispensing medications with accuracy and attention to detail within
a community/retail pharmacy setting Communicate effectively and
compassionately with patients Support patient education,
particularly for Medicare/Medicaid and low-income populations,
accounting for literacy challenges Utilize pharmacy software,
preferably PioneerRx (willing to train), to process prescriptions
and update patient records Collaborate closely with pharmacists and
healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication therapy
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Prior experience as a retail
pharmacy technician is highly preferred Strong knowledge of the top
200-400 retail medications, especially related to chronic disease
management Excellent patient communication skills with a focus on
empathy and patience Experience working with complex patients and
those with chronic conditions Valid state pharmacy technician
registration preferred Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
(PTCB) certification is highly desired but not mandatory
Familiarity or willingness to learn Rx30 software Benefits and
