Acute Care for a local contract nursing job in DuBois,
Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Acute Care
Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12
hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is
currently seeking a Emergency Room Nurse a for a 13-week contract
assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Dubois, PA. Job Function:
Day Shift or Night Shift. 3x12. Responsible for managing the care
of adult and/or pediatric patients experiencing life-threatening
problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies,
and interventions. Provide support, education and comfort to
patients and their families during their emergency room experience.
Close communication with all members of the healthcare team, as
well as the ability to independently recognize the need for early
intervention. Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.
Provide IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood
drawing, and many other medical procedures. Job Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree
in Nursing (BSN). Current RN license for the state of Pennsylvania.
2 years of ED RN experience is required. BLS, ACLS, certifications
from the American Heart Association are required. Disclosure: The
