Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - Vascular & Neuro Location Weirton, WV Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 4 - 10 hour shifts, call and late shifts required with one holiday call day required. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with a strong background in both vascular and neuro procedures. The ideal candidate will monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, maintain sterile techniques, and ensure confidentiality in patient care. This role requires proficiency in two or more specialties defined by the department. Responsibilities - Monitor patient ECG and blood pressure during procedures. - Participate in the on-call rotation, available for emergent procedures 24/7. - Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and billing. - Prepare entry sites using sterile techniques. - Participate in educational opportunities and instruct radiography students. - Act as part of the code team, initiating resuscitative measures as directed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Two years of experience in a Cardiac/Vascular Interventional Lab. - Proficiency in Vascular and Neuro specialties including cerebral coiling, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting. - Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS, and ACLS required (valid until 12/4/2025). - Radiation badge to be provided by agency; facility will not provide.
