with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Fairmont, West
Virginia, 26554! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN
Specialty: Stepdown/MedSurg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience
License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Stepdown
experience Description: Unit has 20 beds. Ratios for Stepdown are
1:3 and for Floor are 1:5-6. Common diagnoses include respiratory
issues, weakness, UTI, AKI, and chest pain. RNs are required to
titrate drips, including Heparin, insulin, Cardizem, and
amiodarone. Charge Nurse and House Supervisor roles are present.
There are nurse aides on this unit with a ratio of 2 per shift.
Respiratory equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow. Cardiac
monitoring is conducted with RN reading strips. The schedule
requires 3 weekend shifts per 4-week period with rotating holiday
shifts. There is no call or standby requirement. The dress code for
the unit is royal blue. Unit-specific orientation is provided. The
