Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,468 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: WV or Compact License - Pending License Acceptable Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in direct fresh open-heart admissions from OR - Pressure monitoring - Swan-Ganz management - Impella monitoring - CRRT experience Description: The CVICU RN must have activated clotting time experience. Shifts are 3 nights per week, including weekdays and weekends. Patient ratios are 1:2, based on unit acuity, with potential for overflow patients requiring step-down care. Candidates should possess experience in direct open-heart admissions from the OR and demonstrate cardiac surgery skills. Swan-Ganz management, Impella monitoring, and CRRT experience are essential. Certifications required are ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should provide a summary of specialized skills, work history, and at least two manager or charge references from the past two years. All required certifications must be included in the application. Previous charge experience is beneficial. Drug and infection prevention protocols must be understood. Expected patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. The unit may care for complex patients post-cardiac surgery, complicated cardiac catheterization lab patients, medical cardiology cases, STEMIs, and more.
