ICU/Critical Care RN in Kingwood, West Virginia, 26537! ICU
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 PM
- 7:00 AM) Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
License: Valid RN License Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Must-Have: - Conscious sedation - Telemetry - Ventilator management
- Arterial line management - Emergency medications - Blood product
administration - Culture of infection prevention Description: The
position requires an ICU Registered Nurse for night shifts. The
nurse will float to different units as needed. The average patient
ratio is 2 patients per nurse during nights. The candidate must
have experience with care of ventilated patients and management of
dysrhythmias. Additional skills required include access and
management of ports, central line care, and obtaining 12 lead EKGs.
The ICU unit typically sees adults and geriatric patients with an
average daily census of 0.2 patients per day. Interdisciplinary
support is provided by various health professionals, including
physical therapy and respiratory services. Certifications must be
from an accredited body. Documentation should be prepared prior to
