Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Unit Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,786 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVU RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26506! Job Title: Noninvasive Cardiology RN Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Noninvasive Cardiology RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS (AHA) Verification, BLS (AHA) Verification Must-Have: Experience in stress testing, IV skills, pre-post experience, and moderate sedation Description: This position is for an RN in the noninvasive cardiology area. Training in all types of stress testing is required. Experience with IV skills, pre-post care, and moderate sedation for TEE procedures is necessary. The role involves caring for both inpatient and outpatient populations. This is a unique position with day shifts, no weekends, and no holidays. The unit completes all forms of stress testing. Moderate sedation for TEE procedures is performed. IV skills and patient monitoring are crucial components of the role. Candidates must possess at least some of the aforementioned skill sets. A minimum of 2 years of experience in these areas is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Titration of dobutamine for dobutamine stress testing is part of the duties. Management of drips for patients is not part of the role. No ventilation or bipap management is involved. This position focuses on ancillary noninvasive cardiology testing. The charge nurse assists with patient throughput in the pre-post area. RNs in this role are not pulled to other areas. There are no aides available to assist in this unit. The shift consists of 5-8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. There is a cancellation policy of 2 shifts for a 13-week assignment.
