Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Morgantown, WV Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,254 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Morgantown, West Virginia, 26506! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Trauma General Surgery Inpatient - Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with complex wound care, drains, devices, traumatic injuries, chest tubes, respiratory support, TBIs, and complex spinal cord injuries. Description: The unit is a high-impact, fast-paced nursing environment. It addresses challenging patient-care issues. Nurses work collaboratively with care management, surgical and medical services, rehabilitation services, and perioperative services. The unit handles multi-trauma, traumatic brain injuries, and various medical and surgical conditions. There is a focus on bariatric surgery, providing care to patients undergoing weight-loss operations. Patient care includes both step-down and floor levels, allowing nurses to experience breadth and depth in their practice. Nurse-to-patient ratios are maintained at 1:6 for floor patients and 1:3 for step-down patients. Nurses must be able to read cardiac strips and verify monitor tech findings. Weekend and holiday work is required, with a floating requirement to similar units. The dress code is royal blue scrubs.
