Position Summary The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing
all clinical operations, ensuring high quality patient care,
regulatory compliance, and efficient workflow across the practice.
This role provides leadership, direction, and support to clinical
staff, maintains adherence to all healthcare regulations, and
partners closely with the Front Office Manager and leadership team
to ensure operational excellence. The Clinical Manager plays a key
role in fostering a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused
clinical environment. Duties & Responsibilities Clinical Operations
Leadership Oversee and manage daily clinical operations across all
practice locations. Lead, support, and mentor clinical staff
(Dental Assistants, Compliance & Procurement Coordinator,
Sterilization Technicians, etc.) to ensure consistent, high-quality
performance. Develop workflows and best practices to streamline
efficiency and maintain a positive patient experience. Monitor
clinical schedules and staffing levels, adjusting coverage as
needed. Serve as an escalation point for clinical concerns,
troubleshooting issues promptly and professionally. Ability to
perform all Dental Assistant duties and regularly work alongside
the team to support the staffing needs of the practice Regulatory &
Compliance Oversight Ensure full compliance with federal, state,
and local regulations, including OSHA, CDC, DEP, HIPAA, infection
control standards, and any relevant specialty-specific guidelines.
Maintain, update, and manage all compliance documentation, logs,
and training records. Conduct routine audits of sterilization,
clinical documentation, safety protocols, hazardous materials
management, and radiography practices. Coordinate clinical
training, competency reviews, and continuing education to uphold
compliance and skill development. Lead compliance investigations or
follow-up actions in collaboration with leadership when required.
Quality Assurance & Patient Safety Establish, monitor, and enforce
quality assurance measures in all clinical areas. Ensure that
patient records, radiographs, and treatment documentation meet
regulatory and internal quality standards. Develop improvement
plans based on audit findings, patient feedback, or clinical
performance indicators. Equipment, Supplies & Clinical Environment
Oversee management of clinical supplies, equipment functionality,
maintenance, and inventory controls. Coordinate repairs, vendor
relationships, and equipment calibration as needed. Ensure clinical
spaces maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and
organization. Leadership & Collaboration Partner with the Front
Office Practice Manager, COO, and Owner to plan and implement
clinical-related initiatives, policies, and strategic improvements.
Facilitate regular clinical staff meetings, training sessions, and
ongoing professional development opportunities. Support new hire
onboarding and clinical skill development to ensure consistent,
high-quality performance across all locations. Provide direct
supervision to clinical staff, including conducting performance
evaluations, delivering timely coaching, and supporting growth and
accountability. Address performance concerns promptly and
constructively, ensuring adherence to policies, expectations, and
professional standards. Manage time and attendance, and monitor
schedule needs to maintain adequate coverage and operational
efficiency. Other Responsibilities Maintain strict confidentiality
and adhere to all HIPAA regulations. Perform additional duties
assigned to support the success of the practice. Qualifications 3–5
years of clinical experience in a dental setting required;
endodontic experience preferred. Previous management or supervisory
experience required. Strong understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, DEP,
infection control, sterilization protocols, and healthcare
regulations. Radiation Health and Safety certification preferred.
Candidate must obtain RHS certification within 90 days of hire.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership
skills, and problem-solving skills are required. Ability to work
collaboratively, delegate tasks, and lead by example. Strong
organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Work
Schedule & Location Full-Time, On-Site Locations: This position
requires travel between all office locations. Monday – Friday 7:30
AM – 4:00 PM No evenings, weekends, or holidays Compensation &
Benefits Pay Range: $55,000 - 65,000 (commensurate with experience)
